OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Our Mosaic Productions is a non-profit DreamMaker Program of The Ink People Center for the Arts whose mission is to promote Middle Eastern music, dance, and nurture cross-cultural awareness through events produced for our local community.

Our largest annual event is the Redwood Coast Bellydance Festival, which has drawn hundreds of participants to Arcata from across the country since 2005. In our first three years we have been delighted to host workshops and performances with talented, internationally acclaimed guest artists and we look forward to more successful productions in 2008 and beyond.

Our 2008 production season begins with an incredible concert of Arabic music and dance with the renowned Georges Lammam Ensemble of San Francisco at the Arkley Center Theatre on February 9. We are excited to be offering this high-caliber performance at such a lovely venue for our community theatre-goers. The 4th Annual Redwood Coast Bellydance Festival will be October 4-5 and will feature guest artists from Seattle to San Diego along with vendors, performers, and so much more.

• February 2006: Concert with Georges Lammam Ensemble and guest dancers Shoshanna of Arcata CA and Deeta of Redding CA.

• May 2006: Turbo Tabla Tuesday 2 with Karim Nagi

• August 2006: Workshop & Show with Astryd Farah de Michele

• September 2006: Redwood Coast Bellydance Festival II with guest artists Amy Sigil & Unmata of Sacramento CA, Judeen Esau of Solvang CA, Fatima Al Wahid of North Highlands CA and Dror Sinai of Santa Cruz CA.

• September 2007: Redwood Coast Bellydance Festival III with guest artists Oreet of New York NY, Aneena of Novato CA, Sarah Adams of Chico CA and Marjhani and Hamzah from Los Angeles CA.

• February 2008: Arabic Concert with Georges Lammam Ensemble

• October 2008: Redwood Coast Bellydance Festival IV with guest artists Nadira of Seattle WA, Heather Stants of San Diego CA, Shoshanna of Arcata CA, Crystal Silmi of Santa Cruz CA, and Ray Dowler of Santa Cruz CA.
